Property-line verification & neighbor coordination
Shared property-line fences may need neighbor coordination before removal, especially if the fence sits on the line rather than clearly inside your side. Polk Services flags this at the walk-through so you can talk to the neighbor first.
Verbal + texted quote, with or without reinstall
Every removal is priced twice. The written quote spells out both prices: removal-only and removal plus new-fence reinstall. Pick whichever fits the project; both include hauling and disposal.
Sunshine 811 check for post-footing excavation
Posts set in concrete need ground penetration to remove, so Polk Services handles the 811 call and holds the post-pulling portion until utility marks are confirmed. Above-ground removal (panels, rails, fabric) proceeds immediately.
Mechanical removal, haul & rake-clean
The skid steer pulls posts and sections mechanically; debris loads into the dump trailer. If the reinstall add-on is included, the new fence follows same-day or next workday. Every job ends with a rake-clean and backfilled post-hole excavations.
Pricing & the Reinstall Add-On
Standard Minimums & Per-Project
$300 minimum for the first 4 cubic yards of fence debris. Standard residential removals (privacy, chain-link, vinyl) are quoted per project: most lots fall within a range, with the exact number on the written quote. Larger scope quoted per project with an all-inclusive number.
The Optional Reinstall Add-On
Every quote includes both removal-only and removal-plus-reinstall prices. The reinstall varies by material, height, and linear footage. For customers who want it, material, installation labor, and timeline are quoted in the same written quote: one project, one payment schedule, one point of contact.
Post-Footing Removal, Separate Line
Concrete footings are pulled with the skid steer or excavated by depth and access. Quoted as a separate line item because some customers want footings pulled (new construction, full clearing) and some want them left (reused footings or future use). Both priced upfront.
Bundle Pricing
Combining fence removal with a landscape reset, shed demolition, or property cleanup brings the total below separate contractors. Ask on the estimate call and Donny will structure the bundle.
Payment Terms
Cash, check, credit/debit, Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App (3.7% fee on card/electronic; cash and check free). Removal-only jobs run payment on completion; removal + reinstall projects may require 20 to 50% down before work starts.
